Title: it must be spring cleaning time...
Post by: BeenDown139 on April 14, 2021, 11:04:17 AM
because apparently people are clearing the all instruments of questionable parentage outta their closets and and asking exorbitant prices for them.  the latest shining example:

beautiful woodwork.  nice parts bass.  $29,000 +$100Shipping?

ha.  ha ha.  ha ha ha ha.

maybe i should make that my new signature.

<edit>  looks like jazzy beat me to the punch on this one...

Yeah, for that price you'd think they would include shipping.

Because the truss rod cover is so small, and picture of it in the case, I think that may be a medium or even short scale bass.  It might just FEEL "extra-long" scale to the seller.

It would be prudent to have a peek under the hood of that Modified IN-2 as well .

I thought it was was going to be the beautifully quilted maple bass that I’d seen previously, yet no. I will say that I do love my Alembic, but I’d probably sell it for 29K.  ;D  It has ruined me for all others though. So, maybe not.
