Im just wondering, if alembic sell the Q switch, or if this one could be included on the pickups that they sell?

You can add a Q-switch to any system that includes a filter for $45. Since the Q is an aspect of the filter, there is no application for it in systems with bass and treble controls.

They're designed to work with our pickups. I know w few people that have combined our electronics with other's pickups, but we don't have much experience ourselves.

We sell them as complete kits with pickups and all the electronics. There's a couple systems available in our  web store (http://store.yahoo.com/alembic/jzbtacpic.html target=_blank). The other ones are described on the  price list (http://www.alembic.com/prod/prices.html#ACTIVATORS target=_blank) and be ordered over the phone.

You can add a Q-switch to any system that includes a filter for $45. - is that only at time of ordering the filter, or can it be retro-fitted to an existing filter?

We can send you a kit for $45 and you can modify the filter yourself. It involes removing a cap, replacing with a different cap and adding the switch. If you're handy with a soldering iron and have some solder wick, you can do the job easily.
