not really a medium scale 4 string kinda guy anymore but this looks pretty cool. looks like the old girl has been around. seems legit but who knows? sensibly priced, hope it doesn't wind up in flipsville. sales seem a little slow over there lately, btw

With that boogieman psu, i would want to know the innards are alembic and not boogieman electronics.

huh - didn't notice that but it was early in the morning when i posted this. so i go to look a little more closely and lo and behold -
>> This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.<<
hmmm, says i.

I'd have to go back and look, but this looks (well, looked) a lot like a bass the ol' Boogieman had. The extreme finish checking rings a bell. It's been a few years. ::)
-
And as I recall when he/she/they were trying to sell the bass it was always listed way over market price.

just realized i posted this in the wrong forum. oops. sorry about that, chief.
it's back, with explanation for pulled listing:

>> I had to cancel a bid an relist because I left the pic of power supply and cable in, which will NOT be included in this auction , allowing me to sell at even better price. <<
morbid curiousity would dictate shooting the seller a request of pictures from under the hood. or maybe i should just get back to work. long day ahead. sigh....

as i'm flopped out in the barco-lounger watching gilligan's island reruns anticipating another day in the salt mines tomorrow, i get an email from the seller and it appears that the original alembic electronics are indeed present. the listing has an added picture showing as much. still not enough to get a rise outta me but it might tickle the fancy of one of you other fellers...

I would love to have this bass. Long scales are a bit much for me these days, but I'm just broke.
