Hi I just purchased this beautiful Alembic Orion '99 and I am hoping to find the specs for my instrument.

Congrats, and welcome! Your serial number appears to be missing a digit - it starts with 99 for 1999, then OW for an Orion bass, then there should 4 or 5 digits for the instrument - counting since 1972, and it should be around the 10,000 mark for 1999.

Mine is 99OW12012, completed April 8 '99. I guess the last digit is missing?

The original owner was in California.

I can't wait to see the upgrades to the inlays for my instrument, will need to add it to this build list.
