$2.70 starting bid series I on Ebay! Um, too good to be true? They have other similar listings... I know nothing more as usual.

Jus' checkin' to make sure it wudden mine this time... Jeannie's been kinda' sassy here lately. ;D

The actual description is short, but in French, while the seller appears to be UK based.
-
The listing alleges the bass is in Los Angeles. Also, if you look at the pics, there is a notice that the seller is a pawn shop and is not accepting bids. Rather, the bass has a BIN price of $3K! If I were 400 miles closer, I’d be on my way right now!
Bill, tgo

I remembered the jack repair, here's what we saw last year...
It was for sale in France in January 2020 - http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=25224.0
And there was a dodgy eBay listing in May 2020 - http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=25518.0

Already taken down.

so, in other words...

This same scammer has been popping up for a few months now (at least). Scroll through the photos and you'll see the telltale "Do not bid! BIN price is $3000...". I've reported them multiple times, but I think what they're doing is hacking other accounts.

Well darn, I had my $2.70 ready too...
