by my calculations, that comes out to USD $29291.36. plus whatever it takes to get it shipped. Whooo000OOO000ooo!
yeah they've got some awesome basses there, awesome prices as well.
Earlier in the year when i was in the market for an upgrade, i was gonna make a play for this one, but i didn't wanna give up some body parts or my firstborn for it:

i see it's still there, apparently nobody else wants to step up to the plate either.

Love the shape of the Darling body on a short scale and this bass is incredible. This body type lends itself so well to the heart omega cutout. I don't know who at Alembic designed the Darling shape but while some body types (bass that is) appeal to me others dont and this is one of those I really appreciate from an aesthetic standpoint.

Don't know why that Series I is so much more expensive that the new K-body Series I basses they have for sale
-
Well I think the price increase might be one of the reasons?

Was the price increase (or exchange rate change) that big? We're talking about $4,000 Euros or almost $5,000 U.S. here.

Well, price list saying
Series 1 with standard wood config starts
at 21 K.

Pretty wood. I'm curious how well it balances and where it balances.
