Title: Have a Fabulous Festivus!

Today, December 23rd, is Festivus!  So get out the aluminum pole (or the "al loo min ee um" pole across the pond), air those grievances, and show incredible feats of strength!   Others may be celebrating Hanukah, Xmas, Kwanza, and Smokey Robinson may have "Cha new ca",  but it's:

If you celebrate it, have a fantastic Christmas. If you don't I still hope you have a great time over the season into the new year and beyond. I have a feeling this Covid-19 is going to be with us for the long haul so I hope in 2021 there is a way that will allow us to safely resume entertaining, making and performing music in a way we have not easily been able to do in this year.

Having once spent a, um, shall we say less than fulfilling 3 months on the Midwest hotel-lounge circuit doing sound, follow-spot, and pyro 6 sets a night 6 nights a week for "Holidaze, Featuring Doc & Linda Holiday", I just came dangerously close to a PTSD episode with your use of the spelling...........

Peter (who will clarify that the follow-spot & pyro were only 5th & 6th sets Friday & Saturday - for the "Vegas-style Floor Show" - which was differentiated from the normal sets by Doc wearing a chartreuse-and-orange sequined jumpsuit, and Linda a matching disco-slut dress.  And Doc's patter being even lamer than usual )

Seems the right spot for this one.  :D  (y'all believe this or not, my boss sent me that Phil meme!)

We woke to an icy-white Christmas morning here in Roanoke, Virginia. WQ-413 marked on-duty at 0600.

However you all celebrate the Holiday Season, I hope it is restful, enjoyable, and peaceful. Looking forward to another year, hopefully one full of more music.
