Up until a few months ago may be mid summer, I used to get an option when I logged in whereby I could just access the threads that have changed or new ones since my last visit. That has not appeared at the top of my pages for ages now. Is it something that has been turned off for everyone or is it something I have changed in the settings for account on the site. I can't seem to find any way to turn it back on.

My browser is set to login automatically, the "show unread posts since your last visit" link has always been available directly below "Hello StephenR", I don't use the show replies to your posts option but it has been consistently available.
-
I've both of those options every time I log in, maybe it's a browser issue?
-
In the top right hand corner of the page, just to the right of where it says "visit Alembic.com", there is an arrow pointing either up or down. Try clicking on that arrow.

I haven’t had those issues Jazzy. I’m using Firefox as my browser and have both iPhone and PC access.
-
No problem on Firefox here either. I still have the "Show unread posts since last visit." option.

I think this is it!
I thought you were going to say "There are too many new threads on stuff that has already been addressed - use the search function!" but that's TalkBass!

I never noticed that arrow...thanks Dave

I never noticed that arrow ...
Yes, it's a bit inconspicuous.

I never noticed it either and clicking it does indeed toggle that option on and off.
thanks. It will save me missing posts.
