The trusted owner from Alembic Club temporarily doesn’t have access to the instrument, but I need to know the nut width- 1.5, 1.65, or what. I have the rest of the specs from a prior info request. Thanks.

Did a search on your serial number and found this: http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=22900.msg229967#msg229967
Mica states it close to a Stanley Clark Sig model, which has a 1.5 in width at the nut. I'm sure Mica can confirm.

Thanks bassconbeatz. Judging from the picture, that looks like P-bass width: 1.65. I'll wait for verification from Mica, but I do appreciate the link.

It looks like a classic taper neck to me, so while the nut width may be the same as on a P bass, the overall feel will be different. Certainly the bridge spacing will be narrower, and the strings are spaced evenly edge-to-edge, rather than center-to-center.
Love that walnut top!

This is recorded as a classic taper, so it should be 1.75 x 2.25 nut x 24th fret
