My band “Stonetrout” will be playing a live streaming show from The Art House in Berkeley on Saturday night, October 17th, at 7:00 Pacific Time. Here’s a link with all the info:

In the video posted with the link, I’m playing this Alembicized guitar I put together:

Ok i have just put that in my diary. Although it shows 3:00am so not sure if that is your local time or conversion to UK time.
What time are you actually starting in your time zone so i can work it out from here.

We’re supposed to start at 7:00 p.m., California time. According to the link, it will be saved and once you purchase a “ticket”, you can watch at any time as many times as you want (not that you’d want to watch more than once! Lol!)

We'll be there!

Spent this afternoon setting up and sound checking. We’re going to approach it a bit more informally than a typical gig. Instead of a set list, we’re going to take turns calling a song, like we do at rehearsal. Of course, y’all are invited. The link is in the first post on this thread.

I shall be watching Bill but most likely no at 3:00am GMT. I'm sure it will go well.
-
I'm tuned in and watching now. Waiting for you guys to start.

Good gig Bill, i watched it all in one sitting. i had it on my surround sound system and it sounded great.

Thanks! I got to watch it this afternoon. It’s amazing how different the sound was live and over the net. We could barely hear our own vocals, but they were right up front in the net mix. It ended early because the camera batteries ran out (they hadn’t thought to have plug-in power available and ready to go). It was the first time for the venue and the guy doing tech, so I thought it went quite well. We had a lot of fun after being cooped up all these months.

From my end the bass as really clear as was the drums so there was a really solid sound maybe my sub helped there. The vocals were really clear too as was the overall guitar sound, though I found it hard to hear what each guitar was playing separately. This is something I have noticed on most if not all of the
the on-line concerts I've seen recently so it's probably more to do with the streaming or compression rather than what is actually happening in the room.
Hoopefully I will get to watch future ones and maybe some other members too.

Looking forward to getting to my real computer & giving it a watch; "when" is, of course, entirely hypothetical as of yet.

Here’s a recording of the show. The full picture comes on at about the 7.5 minute mark.
