Hello Mica,
I recently bought an Alembic Mark King standard from the previous owner and am very pleased with it. I only like to now a bit more about the details of this bass especially about the wood which has been used. The previous owner doesn't know the type of wood. The serial# is 94MJ8186 (photo attached) I guess the top is walnut but I am not sure. I'd appreciate it if you could forward to me the history records for this bass.
Thanks for your help.
Werner

That pattern of flame is called feather flame and it's absolutely stunning!
