Really good film, though senior management was a little grossed out by the naked guy behind Jerry.

Hey Bill. was she okay with all the topless women dancing?
Sunshine Daydream along with the Grateful Dead Movie are my favorite Dead video releases. Amazing playing, awesome scene and a great document/reminder of what the early days were like.

We got the DVD when it came out. IIRC, you see the topless women first. Tina made a comment to the effect that there’s stuff for me but not for her. Then we saw the guy behind Jerry and I told her she asked for it!
I’d add Festival Express to Stephen’s list.

I would also watch the pre-show interview. There is a humorous interlude where Ken Babbs is trying to MC for the Dead, and Ken (along with Ken Kesey's sister in law) will be on the pre show.
The pre shows are nice, we almost never get to hear these people talk (including all the previous pre-show interviewees) and I think it is important we get to hear their thoughts, and for the younger generation (dang, did I say that? Must be getting old) to make a deeper connection to the music. 8)
They gotta get Mr Wickersham on there..I would love to hear that!
Thanks Grateful Dead for keeping life interesting!

Just watched the “pre-game” show with Ken Babbs and Sue Kesey. Great stories, including the naked guy! The movie is starting now.

What a nice way to spend a sheltering at home Thursday evening. Really sweet Birdsong, and a truly cosmic Dark Star! Were we ever that young?

I missed it, but I do have an extra copy of the DVD box set if anyone is interested (and a copy of the Blu Ray which I'm keeping. I LOOOOOOOOVE this show).
