Title: ISO Alembic F2-B Preamp

Just purchased a Series I and the seller mentioned I should start looking into a F2-B preamp. I didn't realize how hard to come by. I tried ordering one from Alembic but they are sold out and don't have any plans to make more currently. Anyone have one/know of one for sale, preferably with the red knobs?

Any and all help is appreciated

I have been looking for one for a long time. Eventually gave up and bought a second F-1x instead.. But I'd still like to get hold of one.

Hey Steve,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Series I.  (Pictures are always appreciated here).

So, while it's all fine and good to be lusting after an F2-B, I'd like to suggest you get into playing your new axe with whatever amp rig you can get your hands on.  In case you haven't read the full description, here you go:

So if that vintage Fender amp tone is what you're looking for there's no better way to get it!  But I think you'll find the Series basses (and guitars) sound amazing through anything.

We are simply awaiting our order from the sheetmetal fabricator. Everyone's business was affected by the shut down, and not every business is back in full swing just yet. Many of our suppliers indicated that it will take longer than the three months they were closed to get them ramped up again. There will be more F-2B preamps of course, but it will be a few months.

Again... F-2B preamps are backordered.
