Message me for further pictures or info.

ok, I'll be the first to say it, surprised somebody else hasn't beat me to the punch. I don't wanna sound like a jerk but...
seriously? no price, no description, 1 picture that could've come from anywhere. first post in this forum, no intro.
why not just post it on ebay along with all of the other bogus listings? you might get more nibbles that way.
i'm just saying... 🤡

Take it easy there BeenDown. The seller specifically asked to be messaged for further info or pictures. (see the little envelope there?) This bass has been on ebay. 5-string 20th Anniversary Models are rare. We know about it already. We don't generally call new folks out for posting here.

Looks like the same bass thats listed on one of alembic groups on facebook.

Hi all,
Thank you edwardofhuncote.
Beendown139 - the website did not allow me to paste a link or upload more than one photo - could be because I tried from my phone. Its one million pounds if you are interested cheaper for everyone else. Joking :P
Happy to accept a reasonable offer. My father is a musician and has so many guitars - only used this once or twice. He would rather sell it to someone who will appreciate it.
This is the same one that is posted on the facebook group correct. So more info and closer pictures are on there if anyone wants to take a look. So yes if anyone is interested happy to send videos pictures measurements etc. Just send me a message or contact email.
All the best.

Thank you for posting on our little community. You should be able to post more than one photo as long as you you adjust the pixels to not go over the 500KB restriction. You will find a lot more interest is generated when people can see the instrument.
And its fine that you didn't include a price. Some people prefer to do so and others not, but that is entirely up to you.
Since the bass is your father's, I would definitely make sure he knows the resale value or you take some time yourself to figure this out yourself (look at the actual selling prices of similar used Alembics on Reverb, Ebay, etc. not what they are originally listed for). If you are not looking to unload the bass immediately, you might want to consider holding off on selling it for a while. With Covid-19 affecting just about everyone and many people out of work at least temporarily a lot of expensive basses are not moving very quickly. If you look at Reverb they have a lot of basses (many overly priced) that have been listed for more than a year.
Once again welcome to our community and thanks for listing your bass here. Even if people don't have the cash to purchase your bass they will enjoy looking at it.
