Title: Help Request: Posting Photos In-Line
Post by: s_wood on June 23, 2020, 11:10:53 AM
For the life of me I can't remember how to post photos in line with my messages!
Every time I try to simply use copy and past I get a "message exceeds 20K characters error message," even if the photos are properly sized.  And, if I simply attach the photos, they are just that: attachments that aren't in-line in the body of the message.

Would someone remind me how to do this?  Thanks!

I think the only way to post images between lines of text is to insert a link to an image that is stored elsewhere on the web.

Also,
Instead of doing a “quick reply”, you can click the “Reply” Button an do a full reply and add an attachment there.

I use Flickr - once you figure out you only need the "img" part of the code it's easy!

If you use the Preview button instead of the Post button from Quick-Reply you will will see the full editor screen. This is also what appears for the Reply button within a post. There is an Insert Image button that lets you point to a photo web site or you can add it as an attachment with size restrictions. It was 150K on the old site and don't know if this wad increased on the new site.
