Title: Tribute Concert to Peter Green last night
Post by: edwardofhuncote on February 26, 2020, 05:28:37 AM
...put on by Mick Fleetwood and A Pretty Good Bunch of Players.

I fully understand which direction the Earth spins on it's axis, and on what fuel, but I think Mick's sincerity towards his old boss and mentor is real, and I appreciate that this concert happened. And it appears that the show will be made available in recorded format too, at some point.

*Looks like Mick brought in Dave Bronze on bass, though I was kinda' expecting Lenny Castellanos. I reckon McVie is sailing somewhere...

Neil Finn singing Peter Green's "Man Of The World" from that same show...

Fleetwood Mac put this one in the last leg of their last tour... fittingly so.

The one night only "Celebration of Peter Green and Early Fleetwood Mac"will be simulcast in movie theaters on Jun 2 and Jun 7th - assuming they are back open to the public by then.  The concert will also be made into a special box set album for sale soon too.

The night after the show - there were videos of all of the songs.  But the next day, BMG had them all pulled off of YouTube...
