Modulus Tele on CL

That is one cool and unique guitar. If it was a bass I would be all over it.
-
The guitar looks pretty cool, but what does "Pre company drama and lawsuit" refer to?
-
Has anyone seen a Blackknife with this body shape before? I haven’t. I wonder if it’s Modulus, or a build with a Modulus neck.

I had a strat Blackknife for a while. I really liked it, EMG active electronics. However, I sold it as I just did not care for the old school tall whammy bar bridge on it. It did sound good though!

The neck is worth that by itself, and might probably retrofit onto a lot of Fenders it this wasn't your thing.

The body looks a lot more homemade than Modulus to me; I'm guessing build. The only thing I see that's "Telecaster style" is the control plate - but were I bucks-up, I'd grab it & stick that neck on a Strat-type body, put in some nice Lo-Z, low-output active kind of guts....
Peter (who was thoroughly impressed with Bill's Modulus/Warmoth/Alembic S-type build)

These is currently a Modulus neck, with Schaller tuners, on reverb for $300/make offer. It isn’t the usual Strat style neck. Rather, it looks like the necks Modulus made for the Alvarez Villain guitar, but without the “Alvarez” lettering on the headstock. Great price - I’d grab it myself, but I’ve got a pile of bodies and necks (including two Moses graphite necks) already waiting for me. I’ve promised myself no more buying until I finish up a few. I do have my second bass and a replica of Jerry’s Alligator nearing the finish line.

Thanks for the listing. I just bought it. I'm a huge fan of Moses necks and as they are no longer in production and rarely come up for sale, used or otherwise. I wish Alembic offered graphite as an option these days.
Thanks again for the neck listing Ibpesq!

Glad you got it, Danno! Always nice to see you back here. There's also a Rogue bass for sale here in the "For Sale and Trade" section. Triple black - has your name all over it, lol!
By the way, it's "LBPESQ", not "IBPESQ", but you can call me:

Kudos Danno,
I have one of those necks on a mexi-strat, ...play it almost every day.
Real comfy and always straight ;)

I may put it on a Mex Strat I just had upgraded to a sustainer full set up and a Babicz trem. I've become so enamored of graphite necks I have 9 guitars (2 Steinbergers)and four basses (2 Status) with them. Now if I can get around to selling the few wood necks that are decorating my room. Thanks again Bill. My luthier thanks you for the additional revenue. Cheers! And Elwoodblue you are absolutely correct on the stability.
