This is the first bass I ever bought in FEB 1994...and I hope I will not commit sacrilege by publishing this post.
The original MEC electronic has been replaced by two fantastic Alembic single coils because it had a massive noise in the last third of the treble aperture.
Specs:
- Built in 1993
- 4 string
- Bolt on
- 24 frets / longscale
- String spacing: 16mm
- Body: bubinga
- Neck + fretboard: wenge
- PUs: 2 Alembic single coils
- Electronics, on board preamp: by Swiss luthier Peter Scott
- Strings: Warwick Red Label 35 - 95
For all those interested, here are a few sound examples:

Cool bass! Sounds great.

Davide - that looks and sounds cool.
No harm no foul when adding Alembic stuff to an existing bass! :-)
