Title: Band's first album with my Alembic Distillate 5
Post by: Khrist92 on September 20, 2019, 04:12:38 PM
Hello all,

First, thank you for being a knowledgeable and kind community where questions aren't scoffed at. You all were very helpful in my past few posts. My Distillate is now at the Mothership for repairs and modifications, but I had the good fortune to record my band's entire first album with it (please see link below). It's entirely instrumental, by the way.

Thank you!

PS please move this thread if its not posted in the right forum.

Congratulations on the album. I like it very much so far! Reminds me of Pelican.

I prefer instrumental music!  You guys are good at creating soundscapes; and I really like the way your guitar player uses effects to do so.

Agreed.
Very palatable soundscapes!

Listening now, sounds great. If you ever want to gig in Chicago, let me know. I can point you in the right direction. Looks like I've already liked your Facebook page.

Thank you all for your kind words. Early Pelican is great, humbled to be mentioned in the same breath as them.

We are hoping to expand our show horizons outside NJ/NY/PA next year, would definitely appreciate the Chicago help.

The guitarist usually runs two amps, one with ambient loops and one which is him playing live.
