Professionally set up and ready to play right out of the case
All electronics are clean and work very well
A few very small dings but no major blemishes or scratches
Will need a fret job sooner than later, but that tells you what it is: a player's bass, born to be played, and has been very loved and played
It's been my go-to, and I hate parting with it, but my playing focus is elsewhere now, and this baby deserves to be played --- A LOT!
Please see all photos...I have MANY MORE for those who would like to see...please email me and I'll send them to you...and I will gladly answer any questions.
Thank you!

Welcome, one Virginian to another. :)

Superb looking bass and it looks in great condition for a vintage instrument.
All the best with the sale.

Hello EuripidesUpman.
Beautiful bass. Lots of folks here that would potentially be interested including myself if the price is right.
Here is another thread that was started yesterday regarding your lovely bass.

Thank you one and all for the interest and kind words. I am only here to find a potential future owner.
There is a chip in the bridge pickup that is clearly visible. The pickup works perfectly and it does not diminish the sound or function even slightly.
All other details and specs I have for you are in my original post.
My brother played it in a band of his and loved it. My guitar pro loves it, he even thanked me for bringing it to him to clean and set up. And I have started going through withdrawal symptoms. It remains for sale for right now.

Welcome! If it pains you to sell it, I suggest you keep it...beautiful bass! :)
-
Thanks and yes it is. I just think it needs to be played more than I can in the near future, which makes it a shame for me to keep it even though it's also a shame to sell it, too. A real player among players.

Ah, a fellow “Car Talk” fan! Welcome to the club and good luck with the sale!

Hi, Bill, and yes indeed, Tommy and Raymond will forever be my favorites. My parents named me Hugo, Hugo First. And so I did. :) Thank you for the kind words. Take care...

I can feel that tone through the interwebs!
I hope it sells quickly or I win the lottery.
Note to self: buy a lottery ticket.

I hear you, Mick, and I feel your pain, too...seriously...I really felt the hit when I bought it, too...like a steamroller...but I smiled later on :)

Beautiful bass! I'm looking for a medium scale series, but you caught me at a bad financial time (new roof and just taking off and putting the solar panels back on is the price of this bass!). I will be watching this one!
