Well, I have seen some really strange things happen... but I have never seen anyone sell two brand-new Custom Alembics in one week, certainly not for 1/2 of what they cost. For you guys that were twitchy on the last one I posted, here's THE OTHER Custom Black Spoiler-

I wouldn't fool around too long with making that offer this time. Good Luck. 8)

That's it for the other one.
Hopefully the new owner will grace us with a description
of that new instrument smell ;)

:o How do I keep missing these?!?!? :( While I prefer the hardware on the one J9 got (not a fan of gold), I like this neck recipe better.

Dang Tom, I was hoping you snagged this one! :(

Ditto, I much prefer this neck recipe.
Although I do have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised how clear and articulate the other one sounds. (Mahogany and Purpleheart neck)
If it were an all Mahogany neck, I doubt I'd be happy with it.
So cool that there is a twin pair of Custom Spoiler basses! Nearly identical except for the hardware and neck recipe.
I mentioned this in another thread but that gloss black body finish really looks stunning in person. Very difficult to photograph black guitars but I think the photos actually came out pretty good. But still doesn't compare to the beauty of seeing the bass in person.
(The photos posted on the ebay listings are pretty terrible and do not do the bass justice at all.)
