I'm the proud new owner of an Orion 5-string bass, serial number 99OW12129. I'm curious about the original construction, particularly since the electronics have been modified by a previous owner.  >:(

Here's what I found in the instrument file for your bass:

serial number: 99OW12129
model number: OLB5
top: Lacewood
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: 5-piece Maple with 4 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
side markers: bronze dots
pickups: MXY56
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
finish: satin natural polyurethane (oil-look)
originally made for: Steve's Music, Toronto
birthday: August 3, 1999

There's no other details to report, but I made a short note that the electronics have been modified.
