PuP selector removed from the lower horn, looks like other stuff going on down by the filter/volume knobs. DIdn't notice it before but looks like a nice inlay on that neck also.

Perhaps it once had mellow filters.
-
First - yes, that is nice inlay.
Second - one big plug & 3 small ones: Selector moved and then removed? Plus either Dave's "mellow" idea (and aren't all Dave's ideas mellow?), or Q-switches relocated?
Peter (who would let none of that stop him from playing it)

Binding too, a little bit outside the norm for Alembic.
There was an early Omega-cut guitar showed up here a couple years ago with cool custom inlay and metallic-looking binding. I did a double-take on this one, but it's a different one.
That thing sounds fantastic! 8)

That guitar is a special one! That used to belong to John "Marmaduke" Dawson from NRPS.

Ha! There we go.
Here's the guitar I referenced above- http://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=8328.0

The guitar in that link is amazingly fabulously drool worthy with all the little nuances on it.

It looks like a laminate crack emanating from the 5-pin jack? :(

Here's Maramaduke's guitar with everything in situ; looks like the selector, a master volume, and mellow filters have fallen by the wayside.

I've not heard the term "mellow filters" before. what is that?
