Never saw something like this from Alembic.  I’d guess Stars Guitars.

George Mundy ,  sometimes  " Potted " circuits in this manner .  An example of his potted electronics  can be found in my old Guild Starfire .  The internal photos  of that bass can be found on this site ;  His example looks just a little cleaner  to my eyes then what is being offered in the ebay auction in the topic .  It is important to be knowledgeable of the nature of such " potted circuits " in that they are usually unserviceable internally.

Yep, epoxy potting compounds don't like to be removed. The engineering firm I worked for in the 70's use to pot the electronics on a couple of our products to keep a larger local competitor from reverse engineering them. I also don't see any indication that they have wiring information or what the pot resistances should be.
