Welcome Chris and congratulations, there is a lot of love in my heart for europa and elan basses. Im curious to know how you reached the point in your decision to go alembic.

Welcome to the Club, Chris. There's not much better than a fretless 5-string Alembic... I've had mine for right at 2 years now, and the experience just gets better all the time. Yours sounds like an interesting build. East-Meets-West is a fantastic choice of electronics for a fretless too. If you haven't already, you might consider upgrading to a 3-position Q-switch. It's another level of tweak-ability for a very small amount of $. Another option you might consider for an unlined fretless; sidelines. They may have talked to you about them, and they just aren't your thing, but I love mine. Rather than tell you about them, here's a picture that does a better job describing how they look and work.

Again, Welcome and Congratulations on your order. That's a milestone.  :)
