Title: Cable tester
Post by: jazzyvee on April 27, 2019, 12:13:05 PM
Recently i picked up this multi cable tester. As well as jack and xlr and other cables it has sockets for the 5 pin cables we use on series basses. Nice and convenient.

Thanks for the head’s up.   Looks like a very versatile unit.  I just grabbed one off of reverb.  It is a different brand, “Elite Core”, but appears to be the exact same unit.

Good research Bill. It didn't look like the one Jazzy mentioned is sold in the USA, now I know where to go to test my cables. :)

Yes Bill, that looks like the same unit. Probably made in china but rebranded for different sellers.

I have one of those, too. Two issues: the knob fell off so it's now got an old knock off strat knob on it and the battery loses contact, so I have to push it in while using it. But, it's very handy, indeed.

I have one of the Behringer ones as well, it's very cool, except that the power switch keeps sliding to the on position and it runs the batteries down.

Still looking for the perfect one....
