I saw this on reverb - one of the strangest guitars I’ve ever seen. And what could possibly be the purpose of the fold-out treble horn?

Bro. elwood blue and I have been discussing this one with our old buddy ed_zeppelin off the boards. We got nuttin' in the explanation dept., that's just weirdness. Cool weirdness, but still... Pablo Picasso builds a guitar.
*I'm more intrigued by how they drilled the peghead like that... nevermind why!

The neck contour seems different.

At first I was going to say how else would you access the built-in stash box? All I can think of is it is for a player who doesn't have enough self-control over when to play the high frets. Open they can, closed they can't.
-
I think someone was playing too much Pac-man back in the day.
-
A very obvious place to store one's stash? For the guy whose habit wouldn't wait for the pickguard to be unscrewed.

Run, don't walk. I don't know w-t-h that fold-out is for, but mesquite as a guitar wood has put several builders out of business, it is notoriously wonky. I prefer Kingsford myself.

Hmmmmm.
That's.........interesting.
