Title: Alembic Essence for sale - thoughts?
Post by: davidak on April 11, 2019, 01:32:49 AM: Dear Alembic guys, I am interested in getting my first Alembic. There is one for sale available and I would like to asl you, if tjere is anthing susoicious your trained yes see here.. what is the reasonable price tag?

A picture of the electronics cavity would help verify OEM setup. I cannot and do not know for sure with an Essence if the pickups are embossed or not with the Alembic name.

A fair price is a tricky question. Generally a fair price is one that the buyer is willing to pay.
Others here should be able to provide you a ballpark price... me? I am clueless in that arena.

The administrators there can see if the bass matches the serial number. They, too, may ask to see the electronics. As said, a fair price is what someone will pay but the fairness of the price may be affected by what the serial number reveals. May you share the asking price?
