Title: Upgrading electronics

Hi from Sweden!
 
I have a Orion 5-string fretless with Europa electronics.  
 
I'm thinking of upgrading my electronics, what options do I have?  
Can I change the q-switch to a variable q-control as on series II?

As I understand it, you can not get a variable q control for use with Europa electronics; the variable q is an integral part of the series system, it's not just a matter of replacing the switch.  Also as I understand it, you can use a three position q switch with Europa electronics but I believe it has to be installed at the factory.  Again, I think there is more involved than just the replacement of a switch.  I also have an Orion 5 string fretless with Europa electronics.  I love the flexability of the Europa electronics; but my fretless technique needs a serious upgrade .
