Post by: edwardofhuncote on December 31, 2018, 07:50:45 AM
Happy New Years, Everyone... and GOOD-BYE 2018.

Any resolutions? I usually make at least a small one, and usually stick to it, but I'm coming up with absolutely nuffink this time...  ;D

No resolutions, but I must note that '18 was good in at least one way.  Dec. '16 through Dec. '17 I had 6 friends die; to the best of my knowledge I lost none this year!

Happy Hogmanay, one and all!

A most excellent and healthy New Year everyone!

Peter, thanks for the new word.  When I first saw it, I could only imagine it was the way a Canadian refers to a super hero named Hogman.  "Hey look, it's Hogman Ay!"

Happy New Year! I'm tucked in at home with the rest of my family - we've all had a terrible terrible cold since Christmas and just can't shake it. Hopefully I'll be at work on Wednesday to greet the new year with some health!

Hope everyone has a safe and fun celebration. Enjoy!

Happy New Year everyone.  I have certainly enjoyed getting to know you all somewhat, as I became more active in the Club.  2018 was a pretty good year for me, the year my old bass returned from Japan!  I hope you all have a safe and prosperous 2019.  Allen

I forgot my resolution.. this year I want to love more, respect more, play more and be more. Should be easy, right? ;)

Well, it's here. :)

I played the night away with my two Alembic 5-strings, then went for a long walk today. My only Resolution this year is to be around for another year. I already lost 50+ lbs last year, so it'd be cheatin' to throw that in retroactively, right?  ;D

Say, come to think of it... shouldn't that weight differential entitle me to hold up at least a couple more basses? ???  Maybe it doesn't work like that. We can back offa' the 2XL Silver Sage T's at least... regular Large will do now.  ;D

Seriously, Many Thanks to All who make this such a cool place to be, and as always, Thanks to Mica and the whole Alembic Family for making this, and so many more musical moments possible.

Happy New Year to all. I hope all of us reach the other end of 2019 whilst maintaining or improving whatever our current health conditions are and  to enjoy life, love and playing alembic basses.
If you are looking for that first alembic, I hope you find it this year and if you are seeking to reach into the higher echelons of the brand or grasping for that perfect custom Alembic, I hope you manage to achieve that too.

Congratulations on the weight loss! I went through that a few years back and it changed everything, especially when it came to getting my diabetes under control.

Happy New Year, all!

I was out of town over the holiday and I'm just now starting to catch up.  But yes, I hope for all of you a wonderful new year.  And thanks to each of you for helping make this past year at our club such a delight.

Oh, and I could certainly stand to spend more time practicing this year.

Oliver - how are you, my friend?  Haven’t spoken with you in a long while.  Hope all is well with you and your family in Deutschland.
