As you may have picked up on over the years, we have 3 sons & 4 grandsons; simple & easy.
Well (as I believe I may also have mentioned), the eldest is expecting twins in January &.........we just found out it's two girls!
Exciting, but I'm a little leery, as well; I know I can Dad & Granddude for boys no prob, but I got no freakin' idea what how to handle girls :o (as Nona would attest, I fear).
Peter (who may be buying some frilly stuff soon......)

Congratulations!

More double congrats, Coz. I think it works about the same for grand-Cowgirls. ;D
-
Congratulations.
We raised two girls. Other than when they got older and ensuring the boys were clear on where they stood with me we let them kind of do what they wanted. If they wanted to do girlie stuff that was fine with us as was more outdoor things like fishing and hunting. Both still fish, hike and one still hunts occasionally with her husband. If you still feel confused remember pink camo goes with everything and can be found in just about any store these days. ;)

Congrats, Coz! As the proud father of one son, and proud Grandfather of one boy, I can honestly say, I have no idea what you're in for!!
-
Hey, Congrats Cowboy! I suspect that the first time you lay eyes upon the little ones, you will have no problem figuring it out. Just give us Bay Areans a head's up when you escort the new rugrats on the requisite 710 pilgrimage.

I have given it further thought, and have decided that I need not worry about how to handle them - as I suspect that they will, in fact, prove quite adept at handling Granddude.

Well, that's it then - Rooney Annabelle & Reese Bailey arrived safely this morning.
And no, Granddude didn't do the naming; last night their dad called and told Nona "We finally have the names - but before I tell you, you have to promise not to say anything bad about it".
Peter (Who, until he made it official, was referring to them as "Mildred & Ethel" - and thinks that might be better)

Congrats, Peter! Identical or fraternal? And enjoy the new adventure!

Congrats Granddude.

Hey, Congrats!! Rooney and Reese, eh? Sounds good to me!

Thanks, all.
Bill, they're fraternal.

Congrats to all!
We just got a big lecture from Xander about the nature of family and interconnected relationships. 6 year olds are so earnest. It's a beautiful thing!
