I have had a blast playing my newly acquired 1980 Alembic Series 1. However, I have found the case to be too big to fit in most trunks of cars. I think my case is for a long scale bass because there is still plenty of space above the headstock of my bass when in the case. I want to ask if Alembic has ever released a medium scale bass case for their standard point bass.
Thanks!

The large hiscox bass case (teardrop shape) fits standard point series basses albeit tightly on the sides. They are light and pretty strong plus available worldwide. I’ve found these to be very good for both my medium and long scale series basses.
Cheers,
Garth

Sounds like it's time for a larger car after all everyone knows buying an Alembic is an expensive proposition. ;D
