I've been looking at this MK5 in Korea on Reverb for some time and wondering what the "LB" means in model number they give in the info. It has Signature electronics but does it have something else between the PU's, like a noise cancellation coil?

LB in the model numbers refers to "Long scale Bass"
The central pickup is decorative only in this case. As an MJ model, then the neck is upgraded, as well as the top wood of course, and the backplates are usually plastic on the MJs. Nice looking bass!

Thanks Mica! It is a beautiful bass! They said it has a 16mm spacing at the bridge. Would that be a custom spec? I thought 18mm was standard.

I can't talk about string spacing like that - we don't space center to center at the bridge, so it doesn't compare to how everyone else does it. Looks pretty standard to me (meaning like a comfort taper neck). Our bridge spacing is edge to edge, so the space between the strings is even. That spacing doesn't translate to the way everyone else does it - I know, we do everything the hard way!

No problem, Mica! Thank you for the info :-)
