Don't see these much... https://reverb.com/item/13664743-alembic-evh-4-signature-deluxe-walnut
I believe this particular EVH Signature Model might be for sale in the shop of its namesake, Mr. Edwin Van Huik, himself. :)

"Electronics are as on a Series I but battery powered!"
Huh... :-\

Yeah I caught that too. Do they mean controls?
And is a 6/12 db boost switch standard on a EVH? I have 3/6 and 3/6/9 on my Alembics and can't imagine a 12 db boost being needed very often.
It does appear to be in very nice condition and of course, as usual, the Walnut is stunning.

I agree. I'm not sure what the switch ranges on my basses are, but I'm thinking I'd rather have 0/3/6 than 3/6/9 at this point. OTOH, on my Starfire, the CVQs have a way of creeping up there sometimes.

I thought the only choices for Q-switches were 0/3/6 and 0/6/9? If there was a 3/6/9 switch option there would be no way of defeating the Q-boost.
Both of my basses have the 0/6/9 option, I rarely use the 9dB boost but like having the option. I thought about the 0/3/6 switch but didn't feel a 3 dB boost would be that audible and of little use to me. I was used to playing my Alembicized Modulus with no Q-switch, now that I have one installed I sometimes miss the 8dB boost that was always "on" without the Q-switch but also like the option for no boost along with the 6 and 9 dB options.

That's why I said I had no idea. I guess I want the 0/3/6. Or maybe it's just time to put the SF2 back in the rack.

I seem to recall EVH Signature Models are more like Anniversary Models than regular Signature Models. Should be 2 Volumes, 2 Filters but with 3-position Q-switches. I'm less sure about the parameters, but I'd guess 0-6-9 dB. I love the great big battery-life-sucking led too... just like on my old Distillate. Only BIGGER! ;D

Edwin... Hammer mentioned a 3/6/9 Q-switch, too, I was asking since I had never heard of that option.
