I just stumbled across this listing on eBay

It's still a nice looking bass coming in at $3,250.00 as of a few seconds ago.  Also watching the last bit of the bidding is pleasantly suspenseful, strangely.

Indeed.  I have little doubt that is true, and hopefully that goal will be accomplished before too much longer.

Regardless, congratulations to the bass's new owner, and better luck in the future to the other bidders.
