Sorry, this file is missing. We keep track of what's not available and check against the list if an errant file shows up in an unexpected place and when we are doing research to see if it's been refiled in the meantime.

Mica,
Susan may have just pulled the file to look something up for the original owner who I bought it from.
The guy I bought it from stated that he had just spoken with Susan about the value of the bass and other particulars.
Thanks

Well that would explain why it wasn't in the filing cabinet. I pick up her filing on Fridays typically, so I would have seen it tomorrow.

Here's the details from the file, probably no surpises if the original owner related this to you:

top: Rosewood
body: Mahogany
accent: Maple laminate
back: Rosewood
neck: 5-piece Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 30.75" short
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals
controls: "Signature"
originally made for: not recorded
birthday: June 28, 1988

Thanks!
The other problem is my typo on the serial number.
It’s 88 not 86.
Oops.

Eh - I go by the number, the year isn't really part of the serial number, just a reference.

I see. Thanks for the clarification.
