Title: What bass is Stanley Sporting in his latest tour schedule?
Post by: jazzyvee on May 09, 2018, 10:42:41 PM
Any idea's?. It looks like it's based on a reverse headstock strat style guitar.
Maybe it's a piccolo or tenor with alembic activator pickups and alembic electronics.

I think that's kind of goofy. Just play a Strat, for Pete's sake.

Having said that, I find the sound of chords on my Essence light years more musical than on my old P-bass. I'm looking forward to exploring this further, especially in the context of a 4-piece singer, guitar/keys, drums, bass band.

Harry, how could you not notice. Hahaha
That was the first thing i noticed, “what is Stanley doing with strat?”, then realised it was a bass. Maybe he is getting into a Hendrix vibe on this tour :-)
Kdh, im confident you will find the essence delivers spectacularly and being a single filter bass it is so easy to use live.

I swear Jazzy, there is something posted about this Stanley/Strat bass somewhere. TalkBass maybe? I just can't remember where I saw it.  ???
