check out this solar flare recorded by NASA...what’s even more amazing is the size of earth at scale relative to the sun...mind blowing!  8)

Thanks for that; and it keeps in perspective that we are a bad day for the sun away from extinction...just so we don't get all full of ourselves and stuff...
