Hi Mica, I thinking of buying this bass, can you tell me more about it...
Serial: 92H7349
-
Beauty! Definitely looks like some post-Alembic work on the electronics...
-
That has 6 strings, definitely not a bass! :-X

Now now, Alembic basses come in many different configurations - this one is like a super-bass!
What's up with the white strip on the headstock? And definitely check on those electronics - chicken head knobs are definitely NOT standard!

I know, here are more photos...

I'd definitely want to see what is inside the electronics cavity before even going any further, but other than a bit of spit and polish it looks in good condition.
-
Yea I think so too, can't wait for Mica to see what's all about... :)

BUMP, bass still in ads, please if you can give some info of it.... thanks you so much

Here's the details I found out, Goran:
top: Very Flame Walnut
accent: Purpleheart pinstripe
body: Maple
neck: 11-piece Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) inlays
pickups: AXY56
controls: "Elan" volume, pan, filter, Q-switch, mono ouput
originally made for: New Kary, Milan, Italy
birthday: August 18, 1992
I don't think anything is going on with the electronics except for the strange knobs. Maybe the switch has been replaced? or at least the mounting hardware for it. I would advise getting a peek inside to confirm the knobs are the only things that have been changed.
Good luck!

Mica, thanks you so much, I'll check it out for electronics....

Hey Mica, I just got pics of inside of bass.
I'm thinking of saving it.
Please check the pics.
Thanks

Looks like standard Elan electronics to me!

Thanks Mica!
