I just bought this Series I.
The truss cover plate reads "Bro. Lamont Sherrell"
The bass also has a repaired headstock.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance Mica!

Congratulations & Compliments... nice score. 8)
While digging through the Series I Showcase threads, I did a double-take on this one...

...not the same bass, but at just 29 #'s later it is a very close relative. I'd guess the tops might have come from the same board. ;)

That was my first thought as well, Greg. That’s a beautiful bass, Jon.

This file is missing at the moment. It was pulled recently so it shouldn't take long to locate - it may have been misfiled so we'll take a closer look.

Any luck finding the file on this one?

That's my old bass. I wish I knew where it was now. I put some miles on it, and yes, they are twins.

Hi Mica,
I am seriously considering buying this form Joe. He mentioned that the file is missing but that you do remember the neck repair and various upgrades on this? Just want to be sure you and the folks at Alembic did the work. Thank you so much.

Bassman8416,
I am the previous owner prior to Joe and can assure you that the work was done by Alembic.
No doubt about it.
