Heard a nice radio broadcast in UK this morning on BBC Radio6 Music. The slot is about 9.15am. Mark King (Level 42) and Stewart Copeland (Police) talking about their new band Gizmodrome. It features guitarist from King Crimson and an Italian keyboard player. Great interview. Both very down to earth guys. There is a clip available (Google) a few hours ago from the last of their "warm-up" concerts. This time at London Scala.
Very different (I have the album) but I just really like their honesty at interview.
No arrogance or big time - and they could have!!
Did I say I was going to see Level 42 in Oct at Northampton UK? (I know I did)
See what you think.

It looks like a fun gig!

Good to see Mark King exploring new avenues. Quite the line-up there. Really looking forward to this.

So they started this venture a year ago. How have we all missed out on this already?

Here is a link to a live clip. Copeland is not behind the drums but out front playing guitar and singing. I like the instrumental portions but Copeland's voice grates on me.

Fun! I don't find his vocals bad, but he is best behind the kit...so is Dave Grohl...looks like a cool time for all though.

So, Grohl, Copeland, Skip Spence - know anyone else who played drums in one band & guitar in another? (Well, except my son David....)
