Anyone got any pics of the older graphite models and is it still available as an option at some expense?

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how the rest of you feel - but that appears to be a steal of a price - if I had the cash I'd offer $2100 right now (that one on e-bay)

It'd be interesting to see the two of you haggling over the loot, Oliver...what would you do, get 2 strings a piece?

It does not mention this in the auction, but that bass has side LED's.  I would think that would be worth mentioning in the auction.  Maybe this guy really is telling the truth when he said he does not know Alembics.

Michael-

how do you discern that it has side LEDs ? I've looked at every pic & still can't see them; shouldn't there be a toggle switch for them?

Frank - When LED's are fitted to a bass or guitar, they are mounted in a separate wood strip that is inlaid into the side of the fingerboard.  Look again,  there is a strip of wood on the side of the fingerboard that is not the same as the fingerboard.  I would think that this is for LED's.  I have a couple of basses with side LED's and they do not have a toggle switch.  Sometimes I think I could use a dimmer knob though.--- Michael
