Answering in the event that someone else will find this information useful in the future:

top: Flame Maple
accent: Walnut pinstripe
body: Ash (typically 3-piece)
neck: 3 piece Maple with 2 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Pau Ferro
pickups: 1 FatBoy
controls: volume, bass, treble, mono output
finish: Amber light polyurethane
originally sold to: Ross Music, RI
birthday: October 8, 1999

We saw this bass again a a few years later for a refinish, also amber light. From the date the finish could be either polyurethane or polyester, it's unfortunately not noted. If it's really shiny, it's polyester.
