I am the very proud owner of an Epic 5-string (my first Alembic) via Ebay, but received no info with the bass......what can you tell me about S/N 98W11271?? Many thanks, Chris.

1998 5 string Epic bass long scale
Bubinga top
mahogany body
maple accent
maple neck w/ walnut pinstripes
brass hardware
Epic electronics
Bronze logo, half moon tailpiece
Completed on Jan 19 1988
Sold through Mars Music.
 
That's all we got, no previous registered owners before you.

Congrats on the bass, Chris!  And by the way, I'm thinking Val meant 1998 rather than 1988 .
