WOW BILL,
I'm so envious! LOL, what an stunning instrument!!!!!
I remember Greg Lake playing a similar 12 string back in 1977, I think?
I keep forgetting to do this, My name is Philip, It is a pleasure to meet you Bill!!

Hey Philip. Good that you found it on the original site. The Guitar Broker has some amazing instruments. He does price in the stratosphere, but in time, he can become reasonable with his pricing. Great guy to work with. I was in contact with him yesterday, wishing him well as Irma is closing in on him. He is ready.
Those old Series I 12 strings are great instruments. I love mine as well. Has a very sharp ringing high end, and warm, long sustain low end. Great in separate channels. Almost sounds like an acoustic 12 at times, with a bass playing in the background.

Thank you Much, Joe!!
it is true, Alembic's have a sound like no other!!!
Prayers are with those in Florida!
Would like to share one interesting story!
In the years before Greg Lake began using those incredible Alembic's, Greg was one of the most visible Players using
Instruments made for him by the late English luthier Tony Zemaitis!
During the 1980's Tony & I used to write each other every Couple of months, He told me of the time Greg came
to see him about building a double neck instrument!
Tony warned Greg that it would be way too heavy, but Greg insisted!! Tony went ahead & made him the metal front double neck! To My knowledge the only double neck Tony ever made!
Of coarse Tony was indeed correct, it was too heavy! Tony said that Greg tried to make it lighter!!, And messed it up! Tony did not go into what was done to the guitar or what repairs had to be implemented! Tony was a true English gentleman in all respects!
Here we are almost 45 years later, Tony & Greg are Both gone , Thank God we have our memories!!
