Title: Series I 12-string on Reverb
Post by: edwardofhuncote on August 25, 2017, 02:16:15 PM
Here's a wild one:

Only seen that unusual upper horn carve on one other instrument... it was a Series I bass, and was from about that same timeframe too if I recall correctly.

After reading the description, with all the "one-of-a-kind" references, I'm tempted to list my 1977 Series I 12 string LSG.  Actually, I have been thinking about sending it along as it doesn't get played as much as it should.  I'd certainly let it go for this one's asking price.

I always get a kick when folks tell the 'brand new' amount something would cost when selling a used item.

Man, pricing aside, that is an absolutely beautiful guitar.

Agree price is ambitious... I only posted on it because of the cool factor.  8)

It bugged me that I couldn't remember the particulars on the similar bass, so I went digging in the Showcase section, and sure enough, here's an older thread on this guitar: (Mica's comment here made me smile :) )

Really?
Oh, man - I really need a better gig......
