Just found someone selling a Fernandes copy with a "Real Alembic Logo". Surely that is not lawful even though they are selling it as a Fernandes?
I forwarded the link to Mica so she can decide if there are grounds to challenge the seller.

That is quite an ad. It claims the bass was originally a righty, but was converted to lefty by a pro. It's hard to judge the conversion, or the general condition, as there are no close-up pics and the ones posted are a bit fuzzy when enlarged. At least the seller is being up front about the logo and real builder of the instrument.
