That is a beautiful guitar. 8)
Anybody know -for trivia's sake- how many guitars there are with that headstock? Only seen a couple here, and they all seem to have been made fairly close together in '74.

The replacement of the pickups scares me. Replaced with what? I don't remember seeing an Alembic dummy coil with a screw through the middle. And the part about the 5-pin cable only working in one direction is a little weird. And which is it, 1974 or 1984? (It's described as one in one listing, and the other in the other listing). And while the lower priced listing includes free shipping, the higher priced listing also wants $180 shipping!
This isn't the first time I've seen multiple listings of the same guitar coming out of Japan. There's a blue Daion Savage, significantly overpriced, that's had two or three simultaneous listings, at different prices, for several months now. And, like here, the different listings are posted by different sellers. High price + simultaneous listings of the same instrument by different sellers = red flag, IMHO.

I saw this guitar at "Ishibashi Shibuya store" few weeks ago.
It was repaired state for sale. The shop said "The price will be around JPY 800,000.".
I didn't heard about the pickup replacement. I will check it, if I can.
But the guitar was very good condition for me.
Now the guitar is in the store with JPY 798,000 price tag.
If any one interested this guitar, contact direct to Ishibashi's website. http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/eng/contactus.html
All the sellers on eBay never own this guitar !
Hi Bill,
This typical LSG has same features as S/N 53, 54, 55, and maybe 56. (53 and 55 in my archives).
The screwed dummy PU found as S/N 53 to 94 in my archives.

Inline 6 Headstock
I saw my archives and counted only 11 Gtr.
73' 028 (Santana's Gtr),
74' 053,054,055,078,080,115,117,unknownS/N with Zebra Top,
75' 156 (C.Alomear's Gtr), 75' o18
These are all Standard body Gtr (maybe LSG). Never found on small standard body.
S/N 155,159,162 has Standard body with 3x3 head. And I don't find inline 6 on later 70's S/N.
I think Inline 6 headstock are 20+.
Total Instrument 100 (S/N 50 to 150), Guitar 50 and Bass 50, Small Standard body Gtr 25 and Standard body Gtr 25.
