Love the burst... is that root-beer float or wine-burst?

Maybe Tobacco Honeyburst? Take your pick: http://www.fcbass.nl/alembic/images/catalogue/images/8993.jpg

Looks great!

That is a really nice looking guitar - looks like it was well cared for. I don't like to think about how long ago 1993 was though!

Mica, oh to be young.  I still think about 1993 as fairly recent!  Let's talk about 1973!

hehehehe

That one has been on sale on and off since March. Lovely guitar though and would be my perfect Alembic guitar shape.

I am not all that familiar with baritone guitars -- can this be tuned EADGBE and played like a 6-string bass (ala the Bass VI)?  Thanks.

I have a 28" baritone (the one in the eBay ad says it's also 28") - the unfortunately-named Fender Japan Jaguar Bottom Master - the low E wasn't great, but it can be related to strings too - I've heard complaints about the super-light low E on the Squier Bass VI (though LaBella makes a more reasonable set). If you want to play it like a bass, I personally would go for 30" (like the original Bass VI).
