Hello my  friends once again, I've got new Alembic Epic Special Edition can you Help me with some history about that beauty.

Hi Wojciech,

Nice looking Epic! This was a special edition we made for Guitar Center's anniversary. There were 60 basses made with these same specifications.

top: Flame Maple
accent: Purpleheart and Maple double pinstripe*
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple with 3 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals*
truss rod cover: brass, engraved "Special Edition 34 of 60"*
backplates: brass*
pickups: MXY4
controls: "Epic" volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
originally made for: Guitar Center
birthday: July 31, 1998

The items marked with an * were the items that were special in this special edition. At the time, custom ordered Epics were not available.
The bass was once registered in Canada.

Thank You so much Mica. I Was always dreamed to own Alembic it was for me like Ancient item from the universe  from old Ones  :D  Here I am now with that Beauty Discovering new hidden levels  of Music with Alembic
